Local ReStore Surpasses Year-End Goal

Habitat for Humanity of the NC Sandhills is a lot of things to a lot of people, from a place to volunteer time to a nonprofit connecting families with affordable housing. And the ReStore is a vital component of all of it.

For fiscal year 2026, the ReStore surpassed its budget goal and set a new record, raking in $1.56 million in sales. The accomplishment has been credited to a revamp of the space and continued volunteer support.

“We pride ourselves on everything we do,” ReStore Director Dondi Jones said. “We’re always fighting, no matter what the goal is, to exceed it.”
