Our Mission

Our mission is to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity of the NC Sandhills.

We accept new and gently used items that are in good working condition, which are then sold by the Habitat Moore Store to raise funds. Habitat for Humanity of the NC Sandhills uses the funds for house construction. Our donors come from all walks and positions of life. We could not accomplish our mission without donors’ generous donations.

We now recycle corrugated cardboard and aluminum cans!!!!!!

There is much in store for you, including home furnishings, office furniture, electric appliances, computers and printers, lumber and building materials, architectural items, electronic equipment, double pane windows, doors and cabinets, and plumbing supplies.

DONATIONS ARE ALWAYS ACCEPTED!

Volunteers

The Moore Store Manager, Yvette Mills McCormick, stresses the importance of great volunteers. Currently the store welcomes 65-70 volunteers per week, and over 175 have worked at the Moore Store since July, 2006.  Yvette exclaims, “Working at the Moore Store is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have as a volunteer!”
